Nothing much going on at the mo in Nottingham? Well, don't speak too soon, suckers! Gamecity, Nottingham's flagship computer games festival, will be returning later this year for a spectacular fourth event, but no festival would be complete without a launch event now, would it?
    
And, true to form, no Gamecity event would be complete without another world-record attempt. If you turn up at Market Square at 4pm tomorrow, you can take part in the world record for the largest game of musical statues - dj'ed by none other than Sonic the Hedgehog. 

There will also be cooling refreshments, hearty food, the company of friends and some light playing in the following venues: Fatcat, Tonic and Walkabout will all have GameCity stewards to help you play along.

As an exclusive preview event, Gamecity are also hosting the pre-launch beta premiere of Gambling Lambs - a new event from David Hayward and Ross Fowkes with the folks from Lee Rosy's. They'll be resident in FatCat for all your board-game needs. Enjoy, dammit!
